Italian Hard Cheese 12 Months

Remove Italian Hard Cheese from grocery pack and wrap it in parchment or wax paper instead of plastic. This will allow the cheese to breathe and prevent mold-causing moisture and drying. Wrap it with new paper for each use to prolong its freshness. Store at 35 and 45 degrees Fahrenheit, at a high humidity level, preferably in the bottom of the fridge or the vegetable and fruit bin where it is coldest. Do not freeze cheese to retain its texture and flavor. When properly stored it can last within 10 days from purchase. Always take note of the best before label in the pack.
